Platform Overview
The Corsha Machine Identity Provider (mIDP) is a platform for discovering, managing, and securing machine-to-machine communications. The platform provides centralized identity management, policy enforcement, and real-time visibility across enterprise environments.
Use Cases
1. Secure Data Sharing Across Machines, Systems, and Applications
Corsha enables trusted, auditable data sharing between machines, systems, and cloud applications without exposing operational systems. Every connection is verified in real time, giving organizations confidence that only authorized machines exchange data within OT and across IT, OT, and cloud boundaries.
2. Enable Secure Automation and Modernization to Compete
Corsha removes security bottlenecks that slow automation and modernization. By securing communication between legacy equipment, new systems, and AI-driven machines, Corsha helps organizations scale automation confidently, accelerate throughput, and compete without increasing operational risk.
3. Protect Against Rising Attacks, Ransomware and Cyber Insurance Costs
Corsha stops attackers from exploiting machine-to-machine connections, preventing lateral movement and downtime. By verifying every automated connection, organizations reduce ransomware exposure, demonstrate provable controls to insurers, and lower the cost of cyber and industrial insurance coverage.
4. Prove Control and Pass Compliance Audits (ZT for OT, 62443)
Corsha provides identity-based visibility and audit-ready evidence for every machine connection. Organizations can prove control over who and what accessed systems, satisfy Zero Trust for OT and ISA/IEC 62443 requirements, and pass audits with confidence while reducing regulatory and insurance exposure.
5. Prevent Downtime and Unsafe Automated Behavior
Corsha continuously verifies every automated connection to prevent unsafe or unauthorized machine actions. When issues arise, connections can be isolated instantly to stop cascading failures, contain attacks, and accelerate incident response to keeping production lines and critical systems online, safe, and resilient.
6. Secure Remote and Third-Party Access to OT Systems
Corsha gives organizations a trusted way to grant and control remote and third-party access without exposing internal networks. Every machine connection, whether from vendors, contractors, or maintenance tools, is verified, authenticated, and continuously monitored to ensure outside access is temporary, traceable, and fully revocable.
Platform Components
The mIDP consists of components that work together to secure machine communications:
- Console: Web-based interface for managing identities, policies, and monitoring
- Gatekeeper: Enforcement component operating in Firewall Mode or Proxy Mode
- Authenticator: Generates dynamic MFA credentials for proxy mode deployments
See Components for detailed documentation.
Core Capabilities
- Machine Identity Management: Discover, organize, and manage machine identities
- Policy Enforcement: Connection rules, protocol enforcement, and scheduled access
- Visibility: Connection Canvas visualization and violation monitoring
Integration Ecosystem
The mIDP integrates with Identity Sources, Asset Discovery, and API Gateways.
